He couldn’t take any more of this.
Ryan shut down his computer, sitting and staring at the blank screen long after the desktop had said its programmed goodbyes. There was an eerie silence about the house as he tried to collect his thoughts.
He didn’t even know who he was anymore.
It had gotten so bad that he had stopped reacting to the sound of his real name. His sister had called him multiple times the other day before he even registered that he was talking to her. Finally, after he had answered, she giggled and said, “Sorry, Cry…guess I should call you what your fans call you.”
His web life had a life of its own.
Sighing and standing from his computer desk, Ryan moved slowly through the near-empty house, his sister and her lover gone for the evening.
True FandomMarie was the biggest fan of well, a lot of things. Whenever something or someone caught her interest, she went all out to support it. She bought merchandise, watched television shows and online videos, you name it. So, it was no surprise that she did the same with the famous YouTuber, Cryaotic.
It started out with an obsession with another YouTube star, Pewdiepie. The Swedish man, whose real name was Felix Kjellberg, played various games and recorded himself doing so. Marie latched on quickly to his style of comedy, and before she knew it, she was a Bro, or follower, of Pewdiepie. Then came the day that the Swede and Cryaotic, or as he was known by his fans, Cry, did a co-op together. Unlike Pewdie, Cry chose not to show the fans his face, claiming it was more 'mysterious' that way. Naturally, Marie watched every second of the video, and she just as swiftly found herself a fan of the faceless American. Without hesitation, she went to Cryaotic's channel and frantically pressed the
Will you save me? Part 1Curtis eyed Erik as he read his book, "Zombie survival guide", as if he didn't know how to survive an invasion already. Curtis thought Erik looked cute with his glasses on. He was sitting on the couch and Erik was sitting in a chair across the room. The urge to leap across the room and kiss Erik grew on him. Erik looked up and noticed Curtis fidgeting in his seat.
"Curtis, You alright there? It looks like you have to go to the bathroom or something.." Erik shut his book, using his finger as a temporarily bookmark.
"Um...yeah. Why don't you put that book of yours down and come sit by me?" Curtis smiled and he patted the empty space next to him. Erik smiled back, then put his book down and took his glasses off. He began to walk walk over to Curtis, but before he could reach the couch, Curtis jumped up tackling Erik to the floor. Curtis wrapped his arms around Erik's torso. He moved his left hand up Erik's back and ran his fingers through Erik's messy hair. Curtis was now on top of Erik,

Curtis threw the oven mitt onto the counter, and rubbed his face in frustration.
He had spent all afternoon cooking a romantic dinner for his boyfriend, only for it to burn in the oven and Erik bitching at him from the doorway.
"If you wanted me back early, you should have just told me," Erik snapped, "Not that you would have. You never talk to me."
Curtis rested his elbow on the counter and nibbled a burnt potato, pulling a face at the taste, and trying to block out his boyfriend's voice.
"It's like you don't care about me anymore," Erik went on, "You've never said you love me."
Why did Erik always bring this up?
He had never loved anyone before and he didn't plan on starting now.
Especially with a man who was currently glaring at him, arms folded across his chest and a frown on his face.
"It's like you don't want me around anymore."
"MAYBE I DON'T!" Curtis turned around and yelled, "I've done everythi

But Erik wasn't there...
In his place stood a tall man with long black hair, and black flowing robes that seemed to be made of pure darkness.
Curtis gasped and backed up against the counter.
The man reminded him of death, and if it wasn't for the mischievous twinkle in the man's eyes, it was very likely that he could've been.
"Who are you?" Curtis asked, "Where's Erik?"
The man grinned evilly, "Oh, don't worry. Erik is quite safe. He's in my castle."
"Who are you?!" Curtis almost shouted, but fear gripped his throat.
"I am Jareth, King of the goblins, and your boyfriend now belongs to me."
Curtis shook his head, "You're insane. I'm calling the cops-"
He hurried to the phone that was near the door, but the stranger was too quick, and grabbed his arm, holding him firmly with what seemed the slightest of ease.
"And what will you tell them?" Jareth whispered into his ear, "That you said you don't love him? That you both had a fight?"
Curtis struggled against his grasp, but the man was so s
Poetic PsychosisIn thirty seconds, the next shell would fall. Every night was the same, but every night Lorenzo experienced it as if it were the first time. His throat felt swollen; breathing was hard. He glanced around at the others; young men like him who had been shipped out in the name of honour and freedom. There was no honour in this, no freedom. Only death behind your eyelids, and a fear so gutting, that it carved out your innards and left you a hollow husk. Lorenzo tried to breathe, tried to assure himself that he was still whole, still made of flesh. They had lied when they told him he was ready.
Matteo ran towards him, arms out, rifle swinging uselessly at his side. He shouted for him to run, but Lorenzo remained motionless, unable to move as his friend’s warning was lost in the constant blare of gunfire. None of them were ready.
“The cycle is repeating. It is not safe.” The voice was soft and weak, yet it carried over the gunfire and battle cries without impediment.
