"Are you ready yet, girl?" Toby called up the stairs as I got ready in our room.

"Just a minute! Jeez, I'm trying to get this just right," I replied with a huff, going back to my makeup.

Toby sprinted up the stairs to take a look at my work. "Oh, please, you look fine. What more work could you possibly do? You're going to the party as you!"

We were going to a Halloween party at Gabe's house, and for fun, we had decided to go as werewolves. It seemed perfect, since we could go all out and no one would suspect a thing.

Closing the makeup case in my hand, I retorted, "But I still want to look scary. Aren't werewolves supposed to be scary?" I growled at him while playfully clawing at his arm, and he chuckled.

"I guess. But there's no way I could make this…" He paused and gestured toward his own face. "…possibly look scary."

I shrugged as I said, "Yeah, you're right. It's scary enough on its own." Before he could process my insult, I dashed down the stairs.

…"HEY!" I heard him shout as he got the joke. He chased me down and pulled me into a hug, pretending to bite at my neck.

"No, please! Don't turn me into a beast!" I swooned dramatically. We both laughed, and headed to the party.

~~~~~
As I stepped inside Gabe's house, I looked around and said, "Wow, this place is awesome!"
Toby stepped up next to me, holding my hand so we wouldn't get separated. "Yeah, but where's Gabuscus?" he asked loudly.
"It's Gabe-uscus!" we heard a voice shout behind us. Toby and I turned to see a tall, rather muscular man dressed as a zombie walking towards us. "There you guys are! I didn't think you'd make it!" Gabe said happily, giving Toby a bro hug. He then turned to me, arms extended for another embrace.
"Nice to see you, too, Gabe," I said kindly, accepting his bear hug.
Taking a step back to look at me, Gabe exclaimed, "Woah! Killer costume! Your ears and tail look so real!"
I giggled at his compliment. "Thanks. Toby made them up."
Gabe turned to Toby and took his costume in as well. "Nice work, dude!"
I saw a glimmer of something in Toby's eyes. Was that…jealousy? "Thanks, man," Toby replied simply.
We all talked for a bit, then went off to enjoy the party.
~~~~~

After the festivities were over, Toby and I went back home to play some video games.

"I'm so DEAD!" Toby cried out in both fear and frustration.

"Well, if you listened to me, you wouldn't be." I was watching him play Amnesia, and he kept getting killed by monsters. I tried to guide him, but he refused to believe me on the correct path. What he didn't know is that I had played the custom story he was playing before.

There was a silence between us, and Toby suddenly asked me, "So…did you have fun at the party?"

I looked at him and smiled. "Of course! That was epic! I had no idea that Gabe was such an animal when it came to partying!"

Toby chuckled. "Yeah, he can get pretty crazy."

Another pause. I could feel the tension thickening between us. Smooth. Why'd you have to bring up Gabe? I cursed myself. "Take this left," I said, trying to distract the both of us by putting our minds back into the game.

"Fine, I'll trust you this time," Toby replied. He turned left, and a secret passageway opened up for him. "WITCHCRAFT!!" he exclaimed, and I couldn't help but giggle. "Hey, Sandra. Would you mind getting the candy bowl from the kitchen? I kind of can't pause it right now," he asked me.

"Sure, no problem," I responded, getting up from the computer chair and sauntering into the kitchen. I grabbed the candy bowl without looking into it, then returned to Toby and placed it in his lap. As soon as I did, he was killed again.

"God dang it!!" he yelled, and I laughed again. Sighing, he looked into the leftover trick-or-treat candy placed before him. "Ah, well. Might as well have something to calm my nerves…" He paused, apparently baffled by something in the candy bowl.

"Toby? What's the matter?" I asked him. He looked up at me with a serious expression.

"Sandra, did you look in this candy bowl before you gave it to me?" he questioned me.

I shrugged as I said, "No…but why? What's in there? Is it a big spider, or something?" I peeked over his shoulder to look, and amidst all the candy was a small, square, velvet box. My heart rate sped up at the sight of it. Oh, no way, I thought. He's not…

My guess was soon proven right, as Toby smiled at me and opened the box, revealing a small diamond ring inside. "I figured there aren't many more werewolves I'd like to spend the rest of my life with," he chuckled. Getting up from the chair and bending down on one knee, he looked up as he asked, "What do you say, Sandra? Will you…marry me?"

I blinked the tears from my eyes as I smiled at Toby. "Yes, of course I will!" I cried out happily as I got down to his level and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back, joy evident in his embrace. We pulled out of the hug, and he kissed me passionately.

"Thank God…I thought you were gonna shoot me down," he joked.

I laughed as I said, "Dude, really? You thought I wouldn't say 'yes?'"

He looked at the ground as he said, "Well…you're just so perfect. I figured that you would think you could do better, or something." I paused as the memory from my first confession to him passed through my mind. Looking into his eyes, I smiled kindly.

"Toby, I don't possibly know how I could do better than you," I said softly. He smiled at me as we kissed again.
I know I said that I had 4 more chapters coming up, but since no one seems to want to read this anymore, I'm pulling the plug early. :shrug: Sorry, guys! I got other stories to get to!

So, this is the END. And I mean the END. No more after this...

Toby belongs to himself.
Sandra is my OC!~

D'aaaaaaaw! Why isn't this more popular? The only time I've ever seen something half this sweet was in a Sim's game. The "first kiss"es just kill me.
